Job Summary

Writes and develops content per the hospital's marketing strategy. Ensures that the communication layouts and visual presentations are appropriate to the audience's needs. Audience areas of responsibility include: patient, visitors, physicians, employees, donors, volunteers, employers, community influencers and residents of different demographics.

Licensure and Certification:

  • Not applicable


  • Bachelor's degree


  • Minimum one (1) year experience in marketing or communications position, including experience in developing both written and graphic content.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent writing skills
  • Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop; Illustrator)
  • Ability to take quality photographs
  • Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint
  • Experience working with one or more content management systems (CMS)
  • Experience with one or more e-mail marketing programs (e.g. Mail Chimp, Constant Contact)
  • Must be physically capable to lift up to 35lbs., transport and move items. Must have transportation
