California for a Surgical Services Nurse Manager.
The Surgical Services Nurse Manager will be responsible for the
operations of Operating Room OR. The Nurse Manager will work to
ensure that policies and procedures are being followed and develop
new department goals and objectives. Additional responsibilities
will include employee supervision and management, education and
The Nurse Manager Surgical Services should be prepared to
provide hands-on leadership to nurses within the Perioperative
Services department and uphold the values of the organization as a
whole. Supported by the Operating Room OR Charge Nurse, the
Surgical Services Nurse Manager will report directly to the
Director of Perioperative Services.
The Surgery Nurse Manager will also collaborate with
Board-Certified Surgeons, Anesthesiologists and Technologists alike
with the goal of providing the highest quality of care using the
latest technological advancements.
This 350+ bed acute care hospital offers a range of Surgical
Services to the community it serves. Some of the specialty
procedures include: ENT, trauma, orthopedic, gynecological and
vascular/ heart procedures. Annually, they perform just under
10,000 surgeries per year.
