Boston Scientific Neuromodulation (NMD) Division is looking for
a Solution Architect to support and deliver strategic initiatives
supporting the division. This individual should be highly
motivated with excellent analysis, execution, and communication
skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical and
functional profile, someone who has experience across a large
portfolio of applications assessing and recommending
solutions/strategies based on business need. In this position,
teamwork, listening and communicating will be necessary skills. The
individual should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Engages with division leaders, end-users, analysts, SMEs and IT
leadership to define optimized architectural strategies based on
Drives the analysis and architectural design for key division
Coordinates with IT corporate leaders across multiple areas –
master data management, revenue management, security,
infrastructure, remote systems, Salesforce and SAP.
Leads or supports roll-out and implementation of new business
applications and functionality across the division.
Translates business goals into architectural solutions including
feasibility and practicality of design choices.
Participates in the development of cost/benefit analysis.
Makes recommendations on implementation of applications that
meet the business capability requirements by assessing both
existing and new solutions.
Conducts work effort estimation and develops work plans.
Demonstrates excellent leadership and communication skills, with
the ability to explain complex solutions and value to NMD and
Guide and mentor other members of the team on solution
architecture approaches and methods.
Adheres to project plans, tasks, and deliverables; identifies
dependencies and resource requirements.
Appropriately communicates project status, escalates issues, and
manages timelines and action items.
Works closely with the development team (internal and external)
to assure a timely solution is delivered according to the solution
architecture approaches chosen.
Identifies opportunities for architecture improvements, driving
discussions regarding cost, benefit and prioritization within

Develops and maintains strong working relationships with a
