Grumman has an opening for a Associate Computer Systems
Architect/Computer Systems Architect (Level 1/2) to join the GSDP
Special Test Equipment Engineering (STEE) team. The qualified
applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Space programs
that provides specialized IT support to Restricted, DOD and
Unclassified systems and environments. This position requires
knowledge and adherence to Information Assurance processes and
procedures per NG InfoSec and program security organizations. The
applicant will be expected to support a variety of diverse, and
dynamic environments. The Job requires supporting multiple
engineering areas that have incorporated COTS hardware and
operating systems with custom applications into their test systems
and operational products. The roles and responsibilities of this
position include: Administration of Linux (RHEL 8/9, Rocky 8/9,
Ubuntu 20) servers and workstations Installing, configuring,
troubleshooting hardened Linux operating systems On call, 24/7
pager support during critical phases of testing, contingency
operations and off-site as required As a full-time employee of

Employee Discounts This position’s standard work schedule is a
9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day
Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. Basic
Qualifications (Level 1): Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field and 0
years of related technical test engineering experience. Candidate
must have, and be able to maintain, at least ONE of the following
active U.S. Government security clearances: Dept of Defense Top
Secret level with a background investigation date within 6 years OR
SCI access with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)
completed within 5 years OR Dept of Energy Q clearance with a
Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within 5
years Meets DOD IAT requirements for security certs or be in the
process of obtaining one. (i.e. CISSP, Security certification)
Basic Qualifications (Level 2): Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field
and 2 years of relevant experience, OR a Master's degree in a STEM
field and 0 years of relevant experience. Candidate must have, and
be able to maintain, at least ONE of the following active U.S.
Government security clearances: Dept of Defense Top Secret level
with a background investigation date within 6 years OR SCI access
with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed
within 5 years OR Dept of Energy Q clearance with a Single Scope
Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within 5 years Meets DOD
IAT requirements for security certs or be in the process of
obtaining one. (i.e. CISSP, Security certification) Preferred
qualifications: Administration of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
8/9 servers and workstations Administration of Windows workstations
and servers (Windows 11 and Windows 2022) Installing, configuring,
and maintaining Linux server applications (i.e. Samba, NFS, Chrony,
Web servers) Installing, configuring, and supporting Windows
applications (i.e. Xilinx, Windriver, LabView, Office) Basic
understanding of computer networking (OS configuration, Network
switches, Firewalls, CISCO IOS) Familiarity with CMMC/DFARS/RMF/DOD
Security Controls Highly skilled at using Compliance and
Remediation tools (i.e. Nessus, SCC SCAP scanner, STIG Viewer)
Building, deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting IT systems
hardware (i.e. Workstations, Servers, Storage appliances, network
switches, rack & stack) Manage and prioritize workflow using
department ticketing system Ability to learn scripting languages
and automation, such as Bash, Ansible, and/or PowerShell Primary
Level Salary Range: $76,200.00 - $114,400.00 Secondary Level Salary
Range: $91,800.00 - $137,600.00 The above salary range represents a
general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of
factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and
responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience,
education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the
position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift
differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability
insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off
