Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP
Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of acute care Cath Lab
experience to support cardiac, EP, and interventional procedures at
an acute care hospital and STEMI/Stroke receiving center. Details -
Acute care hospital setting with 4 labs, designated as a STEMI and
Stroke receiving center - Supports cardiac, EP, VTE thrombectomy,
interventional neuro, and interventional radiology procedures -
Procedures include TAVR, TMVR, Watchman, MitraClip, diagnostic and
interventional cardiology, diagnostic and interventional neuro, and
IR - Charting is performed in Epic (experience required) - 4x10
hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday - Call
requirements on weekdays and weekends (Saturday and Sunday) -
Variable start times depending on scheduling needs - Floating
between specialties within the lab is required Requirements -
Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience in a Cath Lab setting -
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required - ARRT or RCIS
certification required - Fluoroscopy Permit required - State
license required, if applicable - Stroke and/or IR experience
preferred - Epic EMR experience required - At least 2 supervisory
references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in
a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration - SSN
and DOB required for consideration Additional Information -
First-time travelers are welcome to apply - Scrubs are provided for
Cath Lab staff - Travelers are expected to float between all
facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in
assignment termination - All requested time off (RTO) must be
submitted at the time of initial consideration — post-offer RTO
requests may be denied - Former permanent staff must wait at least
3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than
50 miles from the facility - Parking is available on-site for an
