Orthopedic Tech Location: Tarzana, CA Agency: Lancesoft Inc. Pay: $1,800 to $1,900 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Requirements / Qualifications Certification: Must hold NBCOT OTC Certification (cannot accept standard Certified Ortho Tech or Medical Assistant) Experience: Minimum 2 years in outpatient orthopedic setting Skills: Casting, splints, braces, immobilizers Cast saw, trimming, univalving, wedging, window casts Splints (hand, foot, short/long arm/leg, sugar tong, thumb spica) Braces/immobilizers (cervical collars, wrist, knee, shoulder, slings) Range of motion and special procedures (assist with debridements, pin insertions, sterile dressing, suture removal) Crutches/canes fitting and patient education Travel / Floating: Must float between Tarzana and Mission Hills locations if needed Other: Weekend and on-call not required, locals accepted, pending state license not accepted Experience & Certifications Preferred Outpatient clinic experience NBCOT OTC Certification Minimum 2 years orthopedic tech experience Familiarity with EPIC charting
