The Information Technology Services (ITS) department at UCLA is a
vital part of the university community, providing essential
technology services and support to ensure the campus can

ever-changing campus environment. Position SummaryStrategy,
Planning, and Operations leads and manages a large and complex
portfolio of IT projects and programs while establishing
partnerships and stakeholder engagement efforts with students,
faculty, staff, and external partners on behalf of the IT
organization. The Strategy, Planning, and Operations Office also
manages organizational initiatives and efforts, including general
administrative functions, financial management and budgeting,
vendor management and licensing, billing, internal communications,
department human resources, talent management, and culture
development.The Enterprise Program Management team operates as a
centralized, strategic IT function that works with IT executives
and key university decision makers to facilitate the strategic
alignment, planning, prioritization, and value realization of all
enterprise-wide IT projects, programs, and portfolio planning and
management activities.The Senior Portfolio Manager will coordinate
and oversee the full Information Technology (IT) portfolio of IT
initiatives, programs, and projects, ensuring the alignment of IT
initiatives with the ITS organization's broader strategic
objectives. This will include managing a standard project lifecycle
methodology across all large and small IT projects and programs and
ensuring that a strong level of project governance is in place. The
Senior Portfolio Manager will manage reconciliation of timelines
and key dates of initiatives across the portfolio to manage the
overall campus impact. The Senior Portfolio Manager will be
accountable for executing deliverables for UCLA and the ePMO,
ensuring that portfolio/program/project sponsorship, strategy,
scope, schedule, and budget targets are defined and achieved. In
alignment with the business and the ePMO, the Senior Portfolio
Manager will develop and implement a portfolio management plan that
promotes business value, innovation, customer satisfaction,
alignment, priority, resource management, risk management,
methodology, compliance, and key performance indicators. This
senior professional will build strong business relationships with
customers, partners, and key stakeholders in alignment with
organizational strategy and business.The Senior IT Portfolio
Manager will positively impact UCLA's operations and culture by
enabling IT projects and programs in service of the university's
academic mission. This team member will advance the university's
mission by delivering exceptional information technology services
comprehensively and consistently across faculty, staff, and
students. This role will execute UCLA's vision while modeling
