A National Enrollment Specialist (NES) plays a crucial role in
ensuring a smooth and efficient enrollment process for all
prospective students, their families, and associated professionals
from inquiry to enrollment. They are responsible for managing all
aspects of enrollment, including data collection, verification,
documentation, and providing support to individuals or
organizations throughout the enrollment process. This National
Office position works directly with CIP center leadership to drive
enrollment growth of CIP’s programs and locations by providing a
consistent and high-quality admissions experience. The National
Enrollment Specialist is a full-time exempt hybrid position that
reports to the National Admissions Director. This position operates
in a highly scheduled environment but may require longer hours and
occasional weekend work and travel (up to 25%) as job duties
demand. The position is considered a hybrid position with presence
at the center required 2-3 days per week to facilitate tours, meet
with staff, participate in training and conduct other business on
behalf of CIP and admissions. The National Enrollment Specialist
position involves a moderate physical demand. All the
Responsibilities We’ll Trust You With: Enrollment Management:
Oversee and manage the end-to-end student enrollment process.
Develop and implement enrollment strategies and procedures to meet
organizational goals. Responsible for guiding the applicant and
family in working with third parties for financial assistance, if
applicable. Data Collection and Verification: Collect and validate
all required information and documentation from applicants. Ensure
the accuracy and completeness of data submitted during the
enrollment process. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain
organized records of all enrolled individuals or entities. Ensure
compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for data storage
and documentation. Communication and Support: Impart your knowledge
of the special education industry; work to meet prospective
customer needs and effectively convey CIP’s value through the
admissions process Deliver excellent customer service to assist
applicants and families with any questions or concerns related to
enrollment. Communicate enrollment status, requirements, and
updates to applicants and families. Explain the unique
differentiators of CIP locations and maintain a thorough
understanding of both full-year and summer programs. Develop a
thorough understanding of CIP’s student and family backgrounds,
experiences, and needs and speak appropriately to the services and
solutions CIP’s programs can offer. Relationship Management: Build,
create, and foster key relationships with relevant industry
contacts, such as educational consultants, teachers, clinicians,
and counselors. Coordinate closely with the CIP program location(s)
to ensure that prospective families and visitors have excellent and
consistent experiences that accurately convey CIP’s value. Outreach
Events: National Admissions Enrollment Specialists may need to
travel to and attend key outreach events such as: Represent CIP in
the broader community with prospective families and within the
industry of transition services for youth with autism and learning
differences (Conferences, college fairs, high school visits,
information sessions, and any other outbound activities and events
determined by the manager). These events may be held regionally or
nationally, depending on the scope of the institution. Outreach to
different regions: If CIP is seeking to enroll students from
different regions, there might be travel involved to establish
relationships with schools, counselors, and organizations in those
areas. Center Events: National Enrollment Specialists may need to
travel to and attend key center events such as: Pre-term staff
training days, Fall New Student Orientation, Spring New Student
Orientation, Family Weekend/Alumni Weekend, Team Building Events,
Summer@CIP, Convocation & Awards Ceremony. Depending on the nature
of the position, there may be a need to visit the local center
regularly or occasionally. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular
audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance with enrollment
guidelines. Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in the
enrollment process. Reporting: Generate reports on enrollment
statistics, trends, and performance metrics. Provide data-driven
insights to improve the enrollment process. Compliance and
Regulations: Stay up-to-date with national and regional regulations
governing enrollment processes and standards. Ensure all enrollment
activities adhere to legal and compliance standards. Technology and
Systems: Utilize a CRM and/or enrollment management software and
databases to streamline processes. Recommend technology solutions
to enhance the efficiency of enrollment operations. *Other Duties
as Assigned Qualities You Possess: The NES will possess exceptional
communication skills, precise attention to detail, superior
organization and prioritization skills and self-motivation in
managing tasks to completion. They will have genuine empathy and
awareness of the needs and sensitivities of prospective families,
students, and staff. Your Areas of Knowledge and Expertise:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Psychology,
Social Work, Education, or a related field is highly preferred.
High School Diploma or GED is required. 2 years related experience
or training in outreach activities or sales/marketing at
educational programs required. Travel will be required to the
center, conferences, outreach events, networking events, etc.
Experience in the field of autism and/or learning disabilities
preferred. A strong understanding of adolescent and young adult
development, including experience reviewing neuropsychological and
educational testing strongly preferred. Special education and/or
career services or placement background, particularly at the higher
education level preferred. An active driver’s license is required.
